A Mommy Makeover is a comprehensive suite of cosmetic surgery procedures designed to address the physical changes that can occur as a result of pregnancy and childbirth. This typically can include a tummy tuck, breast lift or augmentation, VASER-Assisted Liposculpturing, and Female Genital Plastic Surgery.
At Visthetic Surgery Institute & MedSpa™, we offer personalized Mommy Makeovers tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Our surgeons use the latest methodologies and technology to ensure optimal results. Our mission is to help every woman feel confident and beautiful in her own skin.
Who is a good candidate for a
Mommy Makeover?
Ideal candidates for a Mommy Makeover are women who have experienced undesirable physical changes due to pregnancy and childbirth and wish to restore their prior selves. This procedure can address concerns such as loose skin, sagging breasts, excess fat, stress urinary incontinence, and pelvic relaxation. Candidates should be in good overall health, have realistic expectations for the procedure, and be willing to commit to a comprehensive recovery plan. At Visthetic Surgery Institute & MedSpa™, we strive to help every woman achieve the beautiful, confident look they desire.
The results of a Mommy Makeover can vary depending upon the specific procedure(s) performed and the individual patient’s goals. Generally, patients can expect a significant improvement in body contour and overall appearance. This may include a flatter, more toned abdomen, lifted breasts, and vaginal rejuvenation. A majority of the results are obtained within six weeks. Full results may not be visible for several months as the body heals and swelling subsides. With proper aftercare and maintenance, the results of a Mommy Makeover can be long-lasting, enhancing patients’ confidence and comfort in their own skin.
At Visthetic Surgery Institute & MedSpa™, we ensure your comfort and safety throughout the procedure(s). You can choose from various anesthesia options, and our anesthesiologists will guide you through the process. In the pre-op room, our team will prepare you for the procedure(s), and your surgeon will outline the areas to be treated. After the procedure(s), expect some bruising, swelling, and pain, which will gradually improve over time.
What can I expect during the healing and recovery phase?
The healing and recovery phase is dependent upon the type and number of procedure(s) performed. Each procedure has their own healing and recovery process. Based upon this, a comprehensive integrated recovery program will be provided. Avoid strenuous physical activity for at least six weeks after the procedure and follow all your doctor’s aftercare instructions closely to ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of complications. Most patients gradually return to their normal activities over several weeks to months, depending on the extent and type of procedure.
