sun the same day!
To sum it up, Morpheus8 targets subdermal layers of skin and tissue to both remodel and stimulate collagen
production with no downtime and a light sunburn feeling for an hour or two. Depending on how aggressive
the treatment is, a patient may have some faint bruising and/or redness for 48-72 hours post procedure.

How is this procedure performed?
The doctor or nurse at Visthetic Surgery Institute & MedSpa™ will perform this procedure in-office. Depending on your needs, we will recommend either a doctor (who can use a higher setting on the Morpheus8 device) or nurse for this procedure, which will take one hour or less.
The procedure begins with an application of topical numbing cream. If you are averse to pain and would like to explore stronger anesthetic options, we can provide this service.
The doctor or nurse will begin the procedure and apply the device in a specific manner to reach the layers of tissue in the targeted area you’ve requested. The micro-needles will penetrate the skin to create micro-channels and allow the RF energy to reach the targeted area.
What can I expect during the procedure?
Each patient will have a unique experience with Morpheus8 depending on their skin, pain tolerance, and the issue they would like to have remedied.
As Visthetic™ is surgical facility, we are able to provide our patients with anesthetics to ensure they have as comfortable of a procedure as possible. During your consultation, we will ask you questions and provide you with a customized treatment plan.
What can I expect during the healing and recovery phase?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
Make-up Use After Treatments
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
When will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.

The results of Morpheus8 will vary from patient to patient — it is reported that improvements continue up to 3 months after treatment. Variation can occur depending on lifestyle, the condition of the skin, etc.
